  1. Continue to post regularly: Nothing suggests that you’re no longer in business by not maintaining your Facebook account. Stick to your regular posting schedule. Let your customers know what you’ve been up and how you’re still making things happen despite the coronavirus outbreak. It’ll help you stay on top of mind for your customers and help them stay connected.

  2. Stay on top of your customer service: Not only do you need to maintain a regular presence on Facebook but you also need to keep showing your customers that you’re listening. We can’t emphasis enough the importance of always replying to the comments and messages you receive. One of the quickest ways to tell a customer you don’t care is by leaving them hanging when they reach out to you.

  3. Put Facebook Live to work for you: Do you want your customers to keep coming back to you? Do you want to more engagement on your Facebook Business Page? Use Facebook Live. Facebook Live is a great tool to provide value for your customers. You can do a variety of things such as tutorials on how to use your products to giving your followers the inside look on your business. Don’t be afraid to go behind-the-scenes of what you and your company does to serve them.

  4. Be transparent and communicate: If you’re going to need to shut down your business for a day to do deep cleaning. Let your customers know. If your local government agencies limits when you can be open, share that information on Facebook. The same goes if you have to close for two weeks because your business has been contaminated. Communicate honestly because it’ll always pay off.

  5. Don’t operate out of fear: Remember that fear and panic can lead to undesirable outcomes. Be cautious but don’t make decisions out of fear. Take extra precautions to keep your business clean and healthy and don’t be afraid to post about it.

Keep in mind that Facebook can be an effective tool that can contribute to the growth of your business. Be consistent, honest, and focused on providing value for your customers. If you have any questions about Facebook marketing for your business, email Josh at josh@jamiascreative.com!
