2. Check in frequently on Instagram even when you’re not posting or sharing anything
The Instagram algorithm rewards accounts that regularly engage with other accounts. Frequency of usage is rewarded on the app. Instagram doesn’t send organic traffic to accounts that aren’t active. If you need to, schedule a few minutes every day for you to like and comment on content that’s similar to your content and/or supports your content. Doing a little more every day on Instagram will you help gain more followers without having to pay for them.

Stay on top of all comments and direct messages that you receive. Focus on prompt responses that clearly answer questions you receive. Always give a little love back when you receive a compliment in the form of a thank you along with an emoji or two. For negative comments that bashes you or your brand for no reason, it may not be a bad idea to delete the comment. Some people don’t care to engage civilly on Instagram and it’s not your responsibility to change them.
